It is so hard to believe we are already in November.
Quarter 2 is well under way. We are learning about: 

*learning about the letters: f,d,h their sounds
*high frequency words: yes, no, look, me, do, you
*new stories for each letter/HFW
*learning how to be a listener & a speaker for readers workshop
*writing early informational stories using a pattern
*learning how to compare numbers 6-10 as equal fewer than or more than
*counting to 100
*learning about the world around us: maps, globes, regions **one of my favorite units!
 
 
We have dates to make note of:
Nov. 11: Veterans Day
Nov 13: Early Release and leaf shirt painting
Nov. 14: Picture retake day/PTC meeting
Nov. 27-29: No school, Thanksgiving break
